After hitchhiking from Germany to Greece in the fall, the most fulfilling part of my journey began. From November 2024 to February 2025, I worked as a volunteer in a refugee camp on the Greek island of Lesvos. During this time, I got to know incredibly wonderful people and, as a “Resident Volunteer Coordinator,” learned a lot about the brave and resilient individuals fleeing towards a better future.
